Adrien Brody, Oscar-winner and star of the upcoming "Darjeeling Limited," was recently spotted in Malibu wearing a fly 502 T-shirt from Why Louisville on Bardstown Road.

Will Russell, owner of Why Louisville, created the shirt with Danny Cash of Kopilot, and knows how Brody came to own the tee. One of his store customers, a film editor and friend of Brody's, gave the actor the Louisville-lovin' top.

Spend Your Holidays in the Highlands The Highlands and the Highland Commerce Guild are kicking off the Holiday Season with an �Open House� celebration on Saturday, December 2, 2006 dusk 'til 10:00p. This festival of shopping, eating, drinking and merriment is celebrating 21 years of glowing strong...

Boutiques, eateries, and businesses all along Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue open their doors offering entertainment, food, drink, discounts and much, much more. Meet new friends and bump into old ones while walking or caroling from store to store OR ride the Trolley filled with Elves for an old-time tradition. This Baxter-Bardstown beloved corridor will have musicians singing and bagpipers booming. To top it all off, each business will compete in an exterior decorating contest and the Highlands are excited to have Rachel Platt and Doug Proffitt of WHAS-TV as the Honorable Judges!

This years Aglow will brighten up anyone�s Holiday Season with sidewalk entertainment and merriment, and make sure to visit Santa at the Mid City Mall for a sit and a pic from 5:00p-8:00p! $3 donation-Proceeds to benefit the Maria Long Buddies for Life-Baptist East Hospital Pediatric Ward. Bardstown Bound celebrates Halloween! Bardstown Road and certain side streets open their doors for some more fun as well as tricks and treats with an evening of shopping, sampling, and saving on our City's favorite strip, Bardstown Road, is happy to host it's last event of the year, featuring Haunted boutiques to bars where treats will be served to the public and ghosts, ghouls and goblins will walk the corridor on Friday, October 20, 2006 from 5:00p-?!

Boutiques, bars and eateries on Bardstown Road are excited to welcome everyone once again and present another fun-filled witching hour of a night highlighting the area where they live and work. Being Bardstown Bound is a little reminder of why this is the place to see and be seen and to show your support for such a landmark of a street. Shops North and South of Eastern Parkway open their doors for you and to raise a glass and toast another Bardstown Bound Bubbly Hour .

The cast of Bardstown Bound BooFest will pass out goodies for the kids and the child in all of us on this special scary night!

Friday, October, 2006 is the seventh BB and the 4 th as well as the LAST of the Year! So, Come be Haunted in the Highlands, and be �Bardstown Bound� . This 1-night event will showcase the areas most beloved businesses. Discounts on clothing, art, home furnishings, and appetizers provided by Avalon, Butterfly Garden Caf�, Diamante, Le Gallo Rosso Bistro and Palermo Viejo will be featured at the participating boutiques. So shop, taste, drink and enjoy Bardstown Road. The witching hours will be from 5:00p �? . Bearno's Highlands, Alameda Bar & Grill, Cahoots and Diamante Bar & Grill will host the BBC Bardstown Bound Bubbly Boo Hours�to celebrate this Haunted evening and offer drink and food specials, including cold BBC Beers and Live Local entertainment. Also, the gals and guys of this Bardstown Bound event will donate proceeds to benefit the Kentucky Cancer Program/Brown Cancer Center to assist low-income individuals suffering from Breast Cancer.
